Secure multigroup multicast communication systems via intelligent reflecting surface

چکیده

This paper considers a secure multigroup multicast multiple-input single-output (MISO) communication system aided by an intelligent reflecting surface (IRS). Specifically, we aim to minimize the transmit power at Alice via jointly optimizing beamformer, artificial noise (AN) vector and phase shifts IRS subject secrecy rate constraints as well unit modulus of shifts. To tackle optimization problem, first transform it into semidefinite relaxation (SDR) then alternately update beamformer AN matrix IRS. In order reduce high computational complexity, further propose low-complexity algorithm based on second-order cone programming (SOCP). We decouple problem two sub-problems optimize solving corresponding SOCP subproblem. Simulation results show that proposed SDR schemes require half or less than scheme without IRS, which demonstrates advantages introducing effectiveness methods.

Secure Communication in Shotgun Cellular Systems

In this paper, we analyze the secure connectivity in Shotgun cellular systems (SCS: Wireless communication systems with randomly placed base stations) by Poisson intrinsically secure communication graph (IS-graph), i.e., a random graph which describes the connections that are secure over a network. For a base-station in SCS, a degree of secure connections is determined over two channel models: ...

Secure Communication in Multicast Graphs

In this paper we solve the problem of secure communication in multicast graphs, which has been open for over a decade. At Eurocrypt ’98, Franklin and Wright initiated the study of secure communication against a Byzantine adversary on multicast channels in a neighbor network setting. Their model requires node-disjoint and neighbor-disjoint paths between a sender and a receiver. This requirement ...

Distance-Aware Beamforming for Multiuser Secure Communication Systems

Typical cryptography schemes are not well suited for low complexity types of equipment, e.g., Internet of things (IoT) devices, as they may need high power or impose high computational complexity on the device. Physical (PHY) layer security techniques such as beamforming (in multiple antennas systems)  are possible alternatives to provide security for such applications. In this paper, we consid...

Secure Multicast Communication Using Group Based Multicast Hierarchy

Secure multicast communication is a significant requirement in emerging applications in adhoc environments like military or public emergency network applications. Membership dynamism is a major challenge in providing complete security in such networks. This paper proposes a efficient Group Based Multicast Hierarchy (GBMH) algorithm for secret multicast communication, in which source nodes used ...

Secure Reverse Communication in a Multicast Tree

Multicast content delivery can be expected to become a major source of revenue with the increase of private broadband fixed and mobile communications. Several multicast applications require the receivers to securely send some real-time information back to the source, which leads to a many-to-one communication scenario. Using unicast connections to send this reverse traffic results in a data imp...
